Privacy & Data Protection Notice

This notice explains how personal data collected through www.oteloji.com is processed under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). It covers the website and the demo request form only; personal data a property enters into the Oteloji products themselves is processed under the separate agreement signed with that property, where the property is the data controller and Oteloji acts as the data processor.

Data controller

DATA CONTROLLER DETAILS TO BE COMPLETED — legal entity name, tax office and number, registered address, KEP address and MERSIS number will be published here. This notice is a draft prepared for review and has not yet been approved by a lawyer.

What data we collect

Through the demo request form we collect the name, email address, phone number (optional), property name (optional), the product you are interested in, and the content of your message. If you reach us over WhatsApp or email instead, we process the contact details and message content you choose to send. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website, and we do not build visitor profiles.

Why we process it and on what legal basis

The data is processed solely to respond to your request, arrange a demo, and carry out the pre-contractual steps that follow from it. The legal bases are Article 5/2(c) of the KVKK (processing necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract) and Article 5/2(f) (legitimate interests of the data controller), and your explicit consent where neither applies. Your data is not used for marketing messages unless you ask for them.

Who we share it with

Form submissions are delivered by email through our email service provider, and website hosting is provided by Vercel Inc. These providers act as data processors on our behalf and may store data outside Turkey. Beyond this, your data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties, and is disclosed to public authorities only where required by law.

How long we keep it

Demo requests that do not turn into a customer relationship are deleted at the latest two years after the last contact. Where a customer relationship is established, the data is kept for the statutory retention periods arising from tax and commercial legislation (ten years), after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights under Article 11

You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information about the processing, to learn its purpose and whether it is used accordingly, to know the third parties to whom it is transferred, to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, to request erasure or destruction, to object to an outcome produced solely by automated analysis, and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing. To exercise these rights, write to the contact address below; we respond within thirty days at the latest.
